Earlier this week Motorola teased an announcement about some mysterious to be hand delivered to the press.
Well the mysterious box is now delivered and it contains a new Moto E (2nd Gen), the new device looks similar to the 1st gen Moto E and unless you look very closer to the device it is very hard to tell the difference between the devices.
One such difference is the absence of silver strip of speaker at the bottom of the phone, but had followed with the earlier same ergonomics of the smartphone.
The smartphone screen size is now increased to 4.5 inch larger than the older 4.3 inch screen but consists of the same resolution of 540 x 960 as of the first gen.
The camera has also got an upgrade to 5MP Auto focus camera which can record 720p video and has now added with new VGA front facing shooter.
The Smartphone has 1GB RAM and expandable storage upto 32GB where the internal storage is now updated to 8GB, that is double than the older version.
The smartphone comes in two different variants mainly 4G LTE and 3G.
The 4G LTE version will come with Snapdragon 410 quad core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 at 400MHz.
The 3G version comes with older Snapdragon 200 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 302 at 400MHz.
The new Moto E runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The smartphone is designed in order to be customised, as it comes with only two base colour Black and White, where user can customise the samrtphone with different coloured textured bands available.
These bands run all along the sides of the smartphone, Motorola also provides Grip shells for more customization.
The smartphone has a higher battery from the first generation to 2390mAh from 1980mAh.
The pricing for the smartphone is also less being $150 (Rs.9,200 Approx) for the 4G version and $119 (Rs. 7,400 Approx) for the 3G version.
