Motorola which is now owned by Lenovo has today introduced its new Moto E 2nd gen in India in a press event at New Delhi.
Moto E 2nd Gen was announced around last month which is now debuting in India via Flipkart as an exclusive retailer of the smartphone.
The ne Moto E 2nd Gen goes on sale tommorow 11th March 2015 with a price of Rs.6,999/-
The smartphone looks similar to the older generation Moto E with few improvements worth noticed.
The new Moto E is powered by the Snapdragon 200 Quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The new Moto E consists of 4.5 inch qHD display with Gorilla Glass display and also the new 5MP auto focus and VGA front facing camera with now a bumped up internal storage to 8GB and packs a 2390mAh battery.
The smartphone runs Android Lollipop out of the box with few software enhancements such as the Moto Assist and also the Quick capture feature which just need you to twist your wrist to start a camera application.
Motorola will also sell the new Grip shells and Colour bands as accessories for the smartphone.
Motorola is offering sale on the new Moto E 3G variant, but there is also a 4G variant of the phone with slightly higher processor and supporting 4G LTE, but the launch date isn't revealed yet
Recently the Company slashed the price of the 1st gen Moto E by Rs.1000, bringing it to Rs.5,999/-
