From last few months Microsoft is now aggressively trying to target the budget and the lower budget segment markets of the smartphone.
These move have marked launch of affordable smartphone in the lower segment and Mid segment such as Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL, Lumia 532, Lumia 435.
Today Microsoft announced its new entrant to the lower budget segment with its new Lumia 430 which will be targeted to the countries like India, Africa, Russia costing around $70 USD.
The Microsoft Lumia 430 is powered by the latest Windows phone 8.1 which will be upgradeable to the Windows 10 once it will be rolled out to the smartphones.
The device comes with 4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800x480 with pixel density of around 235PPI.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM.
The memory for the device comes with 8GB of internal storage with expansion upto 128GB via microSD.
Lumia 430 comes with 2MP fixed focus rear camera and VGA front facing camera and is backed by 1500mAh battery.
Looking at the price of $70 USD and the descent specs offering, the smartphone clearly targets the lower smartphone segment which is already flooded with lots of the low end Lumias.
The users of Lumia smartphones are looking for a new flagship to be launched as there haven't been any since many months which would actually take place of the higher end Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520.
